BC athletic compensation Not Adopting All modifications to MMA’s “Unified Rules”

Today the British Columbia athletic compensation released a setting paper confirming Camiseta Schalke 04 that all of the modifications to the unified policies embraced by the ABC at Camiseta RB Leipzig the 2016 convention are not being adopted.

The paper likewise suggests these will not likely be embraced in much of Canada noting “as a member of Federal/Provincial/Territorial athletic Commission, BCAC has dedicated to abide by uniform requirements within Canada“.  It is worth pointing out, however, that MMA requirements currently are anything however uniform across Canada.

Specifically BC will not be enabling heel strikes to the kidney from guard as well as likewise will not embrace the new meaning of a grounded fighter.

This must be of no surprise since BC, by regulation, adopts new Jersey’s rules.  New jersey was a vocal however minority objector to the above changes.  Since new jersey did not embrace these policies BC by default does not unless there is regulatory modification which, based on BC’s setting paper, does not appear forthcoming.  Below is BC’s full setting –
